Is there anything Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu can’t do?
Last weekend, the 23-year-old flyhalf scored 37 points in a Rugby Championship Test against Argentina, breaking the Springbok record for most points in a single match.
Now, in a video posted on X, he can be seen juggling a basketball with his feet, a skill which could come in handy on the football and rugby pitch.
In fact, we have seen him do it on the rugby field before. In a United Rugby Championship game against the Lions at Ellis Park last year, Stormers’ star Mngomezulu intercepts the ball by kicking it through, and keeps it alive by juggling it and eventually scores near the post.

“Feinberg-Mngomezulu could be in an Arsenal jersey with that play,” exclaims Gcobani Bobo as he commentates on the match.
Beyond his flair and skill, what sets Feinberg-Mngomezulu apart is his composure under pressure. He’s comfortable slotting conversions from difficult angles or producing moments of magic in broken play.
His versatility also gives coaches a priceless weapon. In an episode of The Breakdown earlier this week, former All Black Jeff Wilson recalled a conversation he had with Springbok attack coach Tony Brown, who told him to “keep an eye on this kid”.
South Africa will be keeping an eye on him this weekend, and will be hoping for much of the same from the Bishops old boy when the Boks take on the Pumas in the Rugby Championship decider at Twickenham in London.
