South African media personality, LaConco (real name Nonkanyiso Conco), recently unveiled a dramatic body transformation. She had previously announced in February that she was giving herself a tummy tuck as a Valentine’s Day gift, and the results are now visible in her jaw-dropping new look.
She shared two pictures on Instagram, wearing a yellow and green fitted maxi dress that hugs her body, showing her small waist and curvy body, sparking a mixed reaction from fans on social media.
She captioned her post: “Uboke uvuke nje ngelinye ilanga uthuse igazi. Ngithe what if heavy make-up and long inches. Ngicishe ngafa ke, ukushiselwa. (Sometimes you need to just wake up and shock yourself. I said let me put on make-up and wear long inches).
“Ngathi ngicela ningitwebule, just iproof ukuthi mangithanda I can, ukuthi nje nginjena nje, akufananwa do you get? (I said I want to look beautiful to show that if I want to, I can)”
The award-winning TV presenter shared her experience leading up to her operation with her fans, documenting her preparation before the cosmetic procedure.
She then followed up with another vlog update showing a brief consultation and post-surgery aftercare that included receiving her medication.
She explained that her decision to choose to do the tummy tuck here in SA instead of overseas is because “we have the best doctors”.
She concluded the vlog with a message to all women, emphasising the importance of doing things for yourself.
“Dear woman, any dream you have for your body, no one is here to rescue you; fight and do it for yourself. It is possible,” she said.
In addition, LaConco has always been candid about her body transformations and revealed in 2022 that she decided to get a 360 liposuction because she was struggling to lose weight.
