Work to finish the non motorised transport project in Grassy Park could be completed by mid December

If all goes according to plan the final stretch of non motorised transport projects in Grassy Park could be completed by December 15th. This is part of the City’s Urban Mobility Directorate where universally accessible walkways and bicycle lanes have been implemented along a number over roads over the past 15months or so. The City says that many Capetonians travel by foot, especially in lower income communities, and one of the Mayor’s priorities is to make safe and universally accessible infrastructure for pedestrians and cyclists.
