Youth Gospel Jam

Youth Gospel Jam 2026 brings together a new generation of voices for a night of praise, purpose and powerful worship.

The event is designed as a space where young people can connect through faith, music and community in a high-energy gospel atmosphere. From live performances to collective worship, it highlights the role of gospel culture in shaping identity and hope among youth in South Africa.

The night features special guest artist Nate the Curator, known for his contemporary gospel sound and curated musical approach that blends modern energy with spiritual messaging. 

Where: 6th Avenue & Boundary Road in Retreat.

When: Friday, June 19, at 7pm.

Tafelberg Punchlines with Purpose

If you and your dad enjoy live comedy, Cape Town Comedy Club is hosting “Tafelberg Punchlines with Purpose”, a comedy night in support of Tafelberg School, a special needs school doing important work in the community. 

The line-up brings serious laughs with Kurt Schoonraad, Kagiso “KG” Mokgadi and Phil de Lange. It is the kind of night where good comedy meets a good cause, perfect for celebrating dads with laughter that gives back.

Where: Tafelberg School.

When: Saturday, June 20 at 6pm.

Cape Towns Most Wanted

Cape Town’s Most Wanted returns for its 15th production, marking another milestone for one of the city’s most recognised dance showcases.

The popular show continues to shine a spotlight on Cape Town’s street dance culture, bringing together some of the best dancers, choreographers and crews from across the city and beyond.

Known for its raw energy and creative storytelling, the production gives audiences a front-row seat to styles shaped in communities, studios and streets alike.

From high-impact choreography to freestyle moments that keep crowds on edge, Cape Town’s Most Wanted has built a reputation as a platform where talent meets opportunity and local dance culture takes centre stage.

Where: The Artscape Theatre. 

When: Runs until Sunday, June 21, with shows at 7.30pm and 3pm.
