This festive season, Guy McDonald and Sean Loots are teaming up Animal Welfare Society Helderberg and The Outreach Program (TOP) to help 12 stray animals find loving homes, in 12 Strays of Christmas.
From 1 – 12 December 2019, Sean and Guy will feature a “Stray of the Day” from one of the two local animal shelters and encourage listeners to adopt them, or another pet from their local animal shelter.
What does the animal adoption process involve?
– a visit to the kennel facility to meet the animal;
– a home inspection to make sure the home is safe, secure and the right loving home environment for the chosen animal;
– to sterilize, microchip and vaccinate the animal before the new owner collects them.
– Standard adoption fee of R950-00 is payable to the relevant shelter.
