There will be live music, stalls, a beer garden and more.

However, on the advice of the event Safety Officer, ToyRun have taken the difficult decision that while the Covid restrictions are still in force, the actual formal ‘Run’ part of the Toy Run cannot take place, as there simply are not sufficient resources to properly action start venues as needed by the Covid regulations, such as registration and screening, to satisfy the relevant authorities.

Hopefully by the Toy Run’s 40th Anniversary next year everything will be back to normal!

The Toy Run is South Africa’s largest motorcycle ride, and it’s all for charity. Every year near the end of November, tens of thousands of bikes rally together for give joy to the needy children of South Africa. Thousands of toys are strapped to bikes and paraded through the major capital cities. Please support Toy Run Cape Town on 28 November 2021 – We would like to dedicate the 2021 TOY RUN to Mr Rodney Ford – former Chairman and always “Mr Toy Run”

Members of the public are welcome to attend the main Toy Run event to see the motorcycles (or on yours if you have one) and to be part of one of the largest charity events in the country.
The motorcycle run itself is FREE and you can do the run or go directly to the end venue at Killarney to make your donation of toys and gifts for FREE

ENTRY TO PARTICIPATE IN THE TOY RUN IS FREE but you MUST PLEASE register online at in order to say you participated in the Run and be officially recognised as a participant.

You do NOT have to purchase anything or pay a ticket price to participate.

Should you wish to enter the Event Arena, where we will have live music by amazing local bands, comedy, stalls, the bar area and other entertainment, you will need to purchase a ticket right here.

Whether you donate toys & gifts or funds, you immediately change the lives of children in need in homes, orphanages, places of safety and hospitals around the Western Cape – YOU can make the difference! The Toy Run Cape Town needs more toys to be donated – LOTS more. If you would like to donate a gift or toy but cannot attend the event, you can make a donation on the ToyRun website.

Any excess funds will be used to further the project plans for the Toy Run Charity and purchase additional toys and gifts for the many hundreds of homes, orphanages, places of safety, hospitals, organisations and disadvantaged communities that rely on the Toy Run to provide toys and gifts for the children in need.

DISCLAIMER – ALL COVID PROTOCOLS & REGULATIONS APPLY – Anyone attending the event does so entirely at their own risk and by participating indemnifies the organisers, their agents and representatives against any liability, howsoever arising
