Seasoned actor Muzi Mthabela is celebrating a personal milestone after graduating from Mukhanyo Theological College.
The former “Isibaya” star recently revealed on social media that he has completed a one-year programme at the college, earning a Higher Certificate in Biblical Teaching.
Sharing the news with his followers, Mthabela posted photos from the graduation and reflected on the journey with a message of gratitude and faith.
“Not mine, but your will be done, O Lord, Yahweh. Thank you, Mukhanyo Theological College, thank you to all my lecturers and my fellow brothers and sisters in class,” he wrote.
He also took a moment to thank his wife for her support, affectionately referring to her as “my doof doof”, one of his nicknames for her.
The qualification focuses on building a foundation for those who want to teach the Bible or serve in leadership roles within the church.
According to the institution, the course is designed to equip students with theological knowledge and practical teaching skills.
Outside of his work in television and film, Mthabela has increasingly used his platform to speak about his faith. The actor often shares messages, sermons and reflections with his followers online, showing a different side of his life beyond the entertainment industry.
While many viewers know him for his role as Duma Ngema on the popular South African drama series “Isibaya”, Mthabela has continued to explore other areas of interest in recent years, including ministry and teaching.
Many of his fans and friends also took to the comment section to congratulate him on the milestone.
