On the 18 October Jenny Morris, aka, the Giggling Gourmet, will be put into jail until the amount of R100 000 in bail money is obtained.
Jenny will face being in jail at Cape Quarter upstairs outside her restaurant.
All bail monies will be used to create awareness and much-needed funds for The Aris Cancer Foundation, which is a foundation focusing on Adolescents and Young adults fighting cancer.
The Aris Cancer Foundation was started by Ari Jansen’s parents in memory of the beautiful young woman who sadly lost the battle to cancer through a brain tumour. Her legacy lives on with her positive approach and zest for life.
Live, laugh and love were the words Ari lived by.
Please come and support this fun event and help get Jenny out of jail by pledging monies or by sending an sms with the word JAIL to 40553.
The Sock it to Cancer Campaign has also just been launched and for R80 you will be able to buy a pair of funky socks and wear them in memory of Ari’s birthday which is on the 31 October.
These will be on sale at Cape Quarter on the day as well as lucky draw prizes throughout the day.
