Bosses to ensure workers contribute to UIF

Employers should ensure that their workers are contributing toward UIF each month as required by law. That’s the call from the UIF as it announced that claims such as Unemployment and Maternity get delayed due to a lack of up to date declarations and contributions by employers. The monthly UIF contribution is made up of 1% deducted from the salary of the worker and 1% by the employer.
