The City of Cape Town says it will continue to monitor rainfall patterns. This comes after the City released its latest dam level statistics for this week, showing a decrease of 1,1percent in the last week to the current dam levels to just over 82%. This time last year dam levels were at 100,5percent. The City says the risk of water restrictions remain low.
The City’s Dido Valley housing project in Simon’s Town is progressing well with 33 units already completed and being readied for handover to qualifying beneficiaries.
