City sterilizes 15k animals in 10 years
The City of Cape Town says it reached a milestone by facilitating close to 15,000 animal sterilizations over the past 10 years. The City says it spent just over R6,3million in a decade with the project which was piloted in Dunoon and Brown’s Farm in 2013. zThe City says communities need to understand that healthy pets mean healthy communities and safer spaces.

CT man pays 8cents for chicken
A Cape Town man has received thousands of comments on his TikTok account after he bought a 24 portion bulk pack of chicken for 8cents at WoolWorths. Keenan Olivier said he spotted the chicken priced at 8 cents at the WoolWorths Food in Tyger Valley and decided to pay 20cents for it. Many took to the comment section of his account saying they had also scored at other shops with some saying the rule of thumb in the retail industry is to pay the price which is advertised on the product.
