The City’s indigent benefits and rates relief campaign drive will be in Langa this week on Thursday, October 27th. The City urges residents who may benefit from its assistance and relief to apply. The City says that the campaign drive will ensure that it reaches residents directly to assist those who are most in need.
Eskom says schools can’t be exempt from power cuts during the exam period as examination centres are not situated in one central place. The basic education has expressed confidence that the Matric exams which got underway this morning will be written despite the rolling blackouts. More than 923,000 part time and full time learners have enrolled to sit for the National Senior Certificate exams.
