Gun Free SA wants gov to do more to curb gun related deaths

There seems to be an increase in murders caused by shooting which has seen a spike over the past 10 years. Gun Free South Africa has expressed concern about firearm related violence and is calling on government to use its crime data to save lives. The organisation says that the last time gun related deaths of around 34 per day was back in 1998,

Employment levels surpasses pre-pandemic levels- Gov

Cabinet has welcomed the latest employment statistics, which have surpassed pre-COVID-19 levels. According to the Minister in the Presidency, Khumbudzo Ntshavheni, the Quarterly Labour Force Survey released last week shows the government’s economic recovery efforts are working. The survey showed an increase of nearly 400-thousand jobs in the third quarter.
