Catch South African comedian Loyiso Gola this weekend in Cape Town as he dives into pop culture through the years and the way it has shaped our lives.

The two-time Emmy nominee explores culture through personal anecdotes, observations and story telling.

He’ll be performing at the Home Coming Centre on Friday 21 October at 8pm and on Saturday 22 October 9:30pm. Tickets and info via Quicket.

“The Revival” – A Tribute to Cat Stevens & Rodriguez

This show will feature the hits of Cat Stevens and Rodriguez. Gareth James will be on Acoustic Guitar and Vocals and Tyrone Marinus on Guitars and Vocals. Both these talented artists are huge fans of Cat Stevens and Rodriguez and intend on bringing you the best Revival Show to hit SA.

Taking place at Cafe Roux at 5pm on Sunday 23 October. Tickets are R170.

Ard Matthews live at Deep South Eatery

Deep South Eatery presents Ard Matthews live on 22 October at 17h00 for an evening of amazing music, delicious food and good vibes. R200 per person and booking is essential.

Burgundy Estate Carnival

Hosted by Riverside College, the carnival will have fun for young and old. With rides and stalls to explore. Live Music Entry is R20 for adults and R10 children under 12.

The carnival takes place on Friday 21 October 6pm to 9:30pm and Saturday 09:00am to 17:00pm at the Riverside College Rugby field Burgundy Estate

Two women take on 13 peaks of Table Mountain in 48 hours

Two women from Cape Town are challenging themselves to climb 13 peaks of Table Mountain in under 48 hours. This is all to raise funds for abuse children.
