Two women from Cape Town are challenging themselves to climb 13 peaks of Table Mountain in under 48 hours. This is all to raise funds for abuse children. The women have been hard at work to complete the 100km, 6000 metre ascent route tagging 13 peaks of the Cape Peninsula. The duo are expected to start on October 29th.

Eskom says it will be extending the current bout of load shedding indefinitely. The power cuts were supposed to end early this morning, but the power utility says generating units have broken down further with another two units at Kendal, one at Kriel and another at Arnot power stations contributing to the energy crisis.
