Law enforcement agencies in the country have been granted freezing or preservation orders to the value of R12,9billion. This was revealed by presidency spokesperson Vincent Magwenya, who also said that SARS had collected R4,8billion in unpaid taxes arising from the work of the Zondo commission. Magwanya says South Africans should take heart that the work of the commission is proving to be positive and will continue to bear fruit as government and other state institutions continue implementing their respective areas of the commissions recommendations.
