LED street lights to reduce energy usage in Mitchells Plain

The City of Cape Town is looking into more ways to reduce energy costs, with one more project in the Mitchells Plain area, seeing LED streetlights being rolled out. The more energy efficient street lighting not only makes the roads and community safer but the City says its more environmentally friendly. The LED project for Spine Road is budgeted at R3,7million for this financial year.
