Over 6,9k Rubiks cubes solved in 24 hours

A 20 year old has broken a world record for solving 6,931 Rubik’s cubes in 24 hours. George Scholey took on the attempt to coincide with the Guinness World Records Day, breaking the record of 5,800 cubes solved set by a Canadian in 2013. Scholey is the reigning cubing champion in Britain and is ranked as one of the top-rated speedcubers in the world by the World Cube Association.

SANParks to increase surveillance ahead of festive season

SANParks says its increasing surveillance at Kruger National Park entry gates as part of the festive season anti-crime prevention. According to SANParks, there will also be increased spot checks of vehicles inside the park. This is to check for park offences such as contraband and verification of identities and booking receipts of occupants inside vehicles.
