Cape Town Society for the Blind (CTSB) is hosting its second fun run/walk-with-a-DIFFERENCE this year!

The event is not just an ordinary fundraiser, but an opportunity to raise awareness about the importance of eye care, the realities of living with low vision and the needs of people who are affected by total blindness.

To coincide with the annual international awareness month for people with disabilities, the 5km run/walk will take place on SATURDAY, 30th NOVEMBER 2019 at Rondebosch Common.

Rustenburg Girls’ High kindly offered their venue for registration, parking and refreshment stations.
Registration is at 08h00 and the race will kick off at 09h00 when participants will get the opportunity to run or walk alongside a blind person for the first kilometre.

This experience will give sighted people the chance of stepping into the shoes of a blind person for a moment in time. The finishing point will be at Rustenburg Girls’ High where refreshments will be sold.

All proceeds raised will go towards enhancing our training and education programmes.
Free entry for all blind and visually impaired persons; and children under 12 years.
