SARS collects R4.8billion in unpaid taxes- Presidency

A total of R2,9billion has been recovered and returned to affected entities and SARS has collected R4,8billion in unpaid taxes. This was revealed in a media briefing by presidency spokesperson Vincent Magwenya. The spokesperson says South Africans should take heart that the work of the Zondo commission is bearing fruit and will continue to do so as government and many other state institutions continue implementing their respective areas of the commissions recommendations.
