The Volunteer Wildfire Services is looking forward to yet another fun #VWSGolfDay out this coming Monday, October the 14th!
Players from all over take to the impeccably manicured greens of Steenberg Golf Club in a bid to help raise monies for this publicly-funded organisation whilst savouring the views of the majestic mountains that form the backdrop to this stunning estate.
These funds raised will go towards the equipping and training of volunteers, and the necessary maintenance of vehicles in order to assist in wildfire suppression operations for the coming season in the Western Cape.
Besides taking the title & prizes ( and bragging rights) home for the winning team, as well as the second- and third-placed teams, there will also be prizes for the longest drive, closest to the pin, and much more!

On the 18 October Jenny Morris, aka, the Giggling Gourmet, will be put into jail until the amount of R100 000 in bail money is obtained. Jenny will face being in jail at Cape Quarter upstairs outside her restaurant.
