WCED puts plans in place to ensure PSA strike doesn’t affect exams

The Western Cape Education Department says it has put plans in place to ensure that that Public Servant’s Association strike today doesn’t impact on the matric exams. Teachers’ unions have assured the department that they will not be participating in the stay away. The WCED says it has put measures in place to ensure services around exams aren’t hampered should any public sector staff member choose to participate in the strike.
