WCED to offer 500 qualified teachers a permanent post from 1 January

In celebration of World Teachers’ Day the Western Cape Education Department says it will be offering up to 500 qualified teachers a permanent post from the 1st of January next year. This is part of our commitment to expanding access to Grade R and boosting Early Learning in the Western Cape. The appointment of these teachers will cost approximately R321 million over the next three years, which the department says is a significant additional investment into Grade R.
