The GBV Golf Challenge is an 18 hole 4 ball alliance 2 scores to count competition hosted during the 16 Days of Activism of No Violence Against Women and Children as part of the national campaign to end domestic violence and raise money for St Anne’s Homes.
The challenge tees-off at 12:00 on the 28 November 2019 at Rondebosch Golf Course with a shotgun start. The teams will receive welcome packs, half-way meal vouchers, sit down dinner and prize-giving with spot prizes, raffle’s and give away’s.
Kim Gustafson (International theatrical performer in David Kramer & Taliep Petersen productions, Kat n the Kings London – West End / Broadway – New York, Klopklop and Poison) will be the hostess, and Ramaine Barreiro-Lloyd – The Diva of Divas and the lady who puts the ‘Bling’ in the Queen of Bling, will make it a fun-filled night to remember.
Prizes will be awarded to the top 7 teams, longest drive, nearest to the pin and hole in one, there will also be a sponsor’s favourite prize and some surprise goodies. Prizes include voucher/s to the value of R1200, quick getaway for you and your partner to the value of R2 780, team getaway for each player and their partners to the value of R6 240.00 and much more.
St. Anne’s Home’s, based in Woodstock Cape Town, was established in 1904 to provide care and support to survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault with their children. Since the doors opened, over 15 000 women and children have called the building home and through the services offered, have managed to build a home of their own in an abuse-free environment.
