Vast majority of Capetonians paying their municipal accounts – COCT

The City of Cape Town has an annual payment ratio of 97,22 percent, indicating that the majority of Capetonians are able to pay their municipal accounts. The City says that those who are struggling to pay their accounts should approach their local municipality for assistance. The City says that its policies aim to accommodate everyone according to their income level and that residents who are faced with financial difficulty can see if they qualify for assistance.
