The Consumer Price Inflation (CPI) increased again, rising to five-point-nine percent in October.
According to Statistics South Africa (Stats SA), the third consecutive increase saw prices rise on average by zero-point-nine percent between September and October.
Among the drivers of high inflation were higher food prices and transport costs.
Analysts say the increase marks a negative turn for consumer prices.
