
The Prince of Egypt
This show is the perfect way to entertain youngsters during the mid-year school holidays.
Presented by the Young Performers Project (YPP), this sweeping epic musical journeys through the wonders of Ancient Egypt as Ramses and Moses, two young men raised as brothers in a kingdom of privilege, find themselves suddenly divided by a secret past.
As one is destined to rule as Pharaoh and the other must rise to free his true people, both face a future that will change history forever.
The production features a massive, talented cast of 60 senior and 74 junior scholars representing 42 different schools.
It marks the exciting YPP directorial debut of Roberto Pombo, alongside a stellar creative team including Evashnee Pillay (choreography), Des Govender (music direction), Ant Govender (sound design), Nicolene Steyn (set/ prop design), Evan le Roux (lighting design) and Kathy Singery (costumes).

Naina – Based on a True Story
This dance-theatre production details the life of a young girl born blind and deaf.
Directed and written by Nico Nehaal Ramdhani, it will run for five shows in Durban next week.
The production features an ensemble cast led by Ramanya Cooper, Subashen Naidu, Angelique Ramjathan, Shanay Madhan, Shuveer Singh, Neshika Ravidutt, Seyarna Cooper Naidu, and Ayushen Pillay, with a special appearance by Shalene Maharaj.
Presented by Nehaal Productions, it explores themes of resilience, friendship, disability and the struggles of addiction.
It is a heartwarming journey which unfolds through captivating acting, powerful storytelling and dance.
