The Fifth Harmony reunion came sooner than expected at the Jonas Brothers’ concert in Dallas, where four members of the group surprised fans with their first performance together in seven years.

On Sunday night, August 31, Normani Kordei, Lauren Jauregui, Ally Brooke, and Dinah Jane joined the stage and performed their hit single “Worth It”, sparking excitement online.

Camila Cabello, who left the group in 2016 to pursue a solo career, was not part of the reunion as she is reportedly touring in Australia.

Despite her absence, she showed support for her former bandmates by commenting four red heart emojis on a post about the performance.

The reunion moment had been teased just hours before the show when Fifth Harmony’s official social media account posted for the first time since 2018, using the hashtag #FifthHarmonyFollowSpree.

That was enough to send fans into speculation, and the surprise appearance confirmed what many had been hoping for.

The performance quickly trended on social media, with longtime fans who are known as “Harmonizers” sharing their disbelief and joy at seeing the group back together on stage.

Kordei even addressed the crowd, asking, “Y’all remember Fifth Harmony?” before the group launched into their chart-topping song.

Fifth Harmony was originally formed in 2012 on “The X Factor” after Simon Cowell grouped the five singers together.

They went on to release three albums and several platinum-certified singles, with “Work From Home” becoming their biggest hit, reaching No 4 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

After Cabello’s departure in 2016, the group continued as a four-piece until announcing an indefinite hiatus in 2018. Each member has since pursued solo careers, with Kordei releasing her debut album “Dopamine” in 2024.

This reunion performance follows recent reports that the group is planning a bigger comeback in 2026 to celebrate the 10th anniversary of their album 7/27 and the success of Work From Home.

Reports have suggested that the four members are also working on a documentary to capture their return to the stage.

However, not all fans are fully convinced. While many were excited by the surprise, others argued that it did not feel like a “true reunion” without Cabello on stage.

Some Harmonizers noted that the group was formed as five and believe that any official comeback should include her, sparking debate online about what the future of Fifth Harmony should look like.

“It cannot be called an official reunite when the most important member (Camila Cabello) is not part of that ‘official’ reunite and more be called fifth harmony when there are 4,” said X user @lumaccoo.

Another fan @hard_tingz said: “Camila ain’t even there. It’s giving off-brand.”
